Seit 1990 intensive Beschäftigung mit Grafikprogrammen, Typografie, DTP, 3D Modeling- und Rendertechniken. Neben Grafik, Instrumentenbau, Metall- Glas- und Holzobjekten, Website- und Designaufträgen, widmet sich Roland Hille seit 2007 vermehrt großformatigen Pigmentdrucken auf Leinwand, basierend auf seinen digitalen Artworks.
Beteiligung an zahlreichen Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen, Entwicklung, Planung und Realisation von Themenausstellungen und Kunstveranstaltungen. Mitglied der Berufsvereinigung der bildenden Künstler Österreichs, des Künstlerbund Klosterneuburg, Bildrecht (vormals VBK), kunst-projekte.
"Digitale Bilder können als „versteckte Mathematik" gesehen werden, ein künstlerischer Entstehungsprozess und die individuelle Rezeption von Kunst kann als „unsichtbare Kybernetik" gedeutet werden. Die Wirklichkeit digitaler Bilder ist also sowohl ein Modell, als auch die Darstellung einer digitalen Realität."
